I finally managed to finish the score of my own new number tonight, only four days after the contractual deadline, which is almost a record for me.

Congratulations. What's the scoring?

What's the scoring?

I think I've mentioned this before at some stage but it's for cello, piano and electronics. I shall probably allow myself a Shameless Plug nearer the time, but the first performance is on 25 October in Leuven and the first UK performance is on 29 November in Huddersfield, both by Arne Deforce and Yutaka Oya.

Good Night from Wales, which is sinking rapidly under even more water than we normally get.

Well I think I'm finally turning in but I expect I'll be awake early again, hope it's not due to nightmares.

Still raining, still raining

Rainy day, rain all day
Ain't no use in gettin' uptight
Just let it groove its own way
Let it drain your worries away yeah
Lay back and groove on a rainy day

By Jack Bruce and Janet Godfrey

I'm a sleepy time baby, a sleepy time boy.
Work only maybe, life is a joy.

We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time, sleepy time all the time.

Asleep in the daytime, asleep at night.
Life is all playtime; working aint right.

Chorus

I have my Sunday, that aint no lie.
But on Monday morning comes my favorite cry.

Early start as usual for me as well with the school run etc., so, armed with a couple of Anadins to hopefully ward off any middle of the night headaches and a mug of tea, I'm off to bed.

G'night all.

And I go to bed at noon.

Up at 4.30/5 tomorrow to get ferry at Dover at 9.  Talk and hear to you all later in the months.
