We had rain and wind all night. The wind is still strong.
By the look of it the weather will not improve soon.

In view of the fact that I seldom seem to make it to the boards before 11pm these days, I would just like to wish everyone a very Good Morning, in anticipation.

Thank you, and goodnight.

Good morning,
We have a little bit of sun. It is not dark.
It is a good morning to get up early.
Do you like that?

If it is raining than you would not want to be at home. It is much better to go to work and be with people, than stay at home on the rainy day.

Is it morning already?
Meh.
Blue sky.
Nearly choked on my muesli this morning.
Ironing a shirt for this open day.
Normally I wouldn't bother but it pays to look smart(ish) and well pressed for events like this.
I will paint eyes on my eyelids and sleep my way through it.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

We had the thunderstorm to end them all last night.  Right overhead.  Beautiful to watch over the sea - exhilarating and energising.  It has been raining heavily all night and still is.  Heating on and so dark the lights are on as well.  Just like November in fact.

The sun is shining and the birds are tweeting. After two cups of strong tea, a NOMMY boiled egg from a happy hen plus a superior cheese oatcake for egg dunking (hope that's not a hanging offence in Scotland. Gulp) I feel positively chirpy and determined to go to the Hammershoi exhibition today. I will not think about the mass of heaving humanity in Piccadilly. I won't ...

I'm excited today because I'm going to hear the Berliner Philharmoniker tonight, assuming they and the Ondes Martenot find their way up the motorway in time. On the other hand, I am depressed because I saw some of Sarah Palin's speech on the BBC news channel Angry Sad Cry.

Edited because I realised I couldn't spell "Martenot" the first time .

There are no longer any hanging offences in Scotland, Mort. Hanging of fences, yes, but that's a different matter....

On the cheese oatcake front, let's just say that it might just be worth keeping an eye on the postie.
