Morning all, it's 4-26am but having just woken from a nightmare - see http://r3ok.myforum365.com/index.php?topic=1504.msg134343#msg134343 - I couldn't resist the temptation to use my newly acquired wireless set up to post on the laptop whilst lying in bed with a cuppa tea. The novelty will soon wear off!

good morning, bbm.

I thought Ludmila and Ludmila is a good start to any morning.

It is a Wedding scene.

The first is Ludmila's Wedding aria. It was alway on the radio when I was growing up. I especially liked the fast part. She is saying Good bye to her father, later saying to two knights that they will find other partners for their lives.
The second scene is an aria of Farlaf. He just found out the the witch is going to help him and he is going to marry Ludmila after all.

Good morning all. I'm still in bed, after not going to sleep until 2.30-ish after the Berlin Phil concert in Liverpool. What an orchestra - I have never in my life heard such perfection. I'm trying to get Turangalila out of my head (exciting though it was) so that I can still hear Tristan.

Weird dreams all night, quite unusual for me. Over-stimulated brain obviously.

I think I know what you mean, Mary Chambers.
I also get very excited after a good concert.

I wish I could hear BP life.
I am glad you enjoyed the concert.

Good morning!  I was up at 6.15 for some strange reason.  It's  good to be awake early you can get so much done.

P.S.  That sounds wonderful Mary.  Glad you had such a great time.

Madainn mhath, Martin. Bright on the East Coast, too: but wasn't there a wee bit of a weather disturbance somewhere in your area yesterday?

Yes, Ron, it was reported that a mini-tornado was visible on North Lewis yesterday, but as you will know the weather here is very localised, and it was quite fine on my particular patch. Good enough to have the washing on the line all day.

[should be on the weather thread really]
