Unless the upside-down Uxbridge sign is a clue, but having been there I wouldn't know. Is Uxbridge upside-down?

Since at least one or two Members have been known to WORK there there's obviously something a bit iffy about it...

Finchley Road?

TimR, that was my first thought as well !

I wondered whether it was the Met line platforms at Baker Street, but now you mention it the buildings in the background do look a lot like Finchley Road

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

I had it down as F Road, B Street or Wembley Park. Now I bet it'll turn out to be Moor Park, just before they knocked down all the tightly-packed Victorian Streets and turned them into deciduous woodland. Or something.  Undecided

For some reason we thought of South Kensington, but again now Mr. J. mentions it Finchley Road does seem likely. Are those the canopies of a second platform behind the train? If so, it being some time since we were there, we cannot remember how many platforms the Finchley Road of to-day presents.

Hi Aleee,

I did get the Arnos Grove supplement in the Guardian. I'm not sure whether I like that big cylinder on the top of it or not. I do like the 1930s feel to many underground stations, though.
