And, whilst we are down Memory Lane, who can forget The Duck and the Rest of The Cast?
"Look, it`s the night of the Gathering Sheep. Can`t you hear them humming that Sea Pictures medly? They`re after your tail feathers, girl. And if they get them, they we are all doomed. The sheep will rule the skies".
"Gordon Duck ! Yeah, it`s all coming back now. Sorry mate. No offence".
"About time. Now there`s no time to lose. Into the Temple and keep your beak down".
Oh Happy Daze, never to be seen again.

I am teary-eyed and weak form laughter! Fantastic. What a weird and wonderful way this board was born. It's as if only yesterday...

Lady Miasma, Pilchard the butler, Plato and Socrates the gay donkeys and not forgetting, the Lesbian Raspberry Canes !! Cripes, there was a cast of thousands in there, too many to recall. Wistful sigh.

Thanks to kittybriton I do have the complete Waffle Threads saved should that be of interest to anyone... OMIGOD, I forgot the camels!! In fact Ollie, the camels initially made an entrance with a bit of nonsense twixt thee and me involving, I seem to recall, a rumpus room. Then it all got out of hand ... Could you send me The Complete Waffle Works? I couldn`t unzip it before but maybe this time...? Fingers crossed.

Not meaning to sound ungrateful to Kittybriton, but anyone can access them, can't they?

Not meaning to sound ungrateful to Kittybriton, but anyone can access them, can't they? Yes, I suppose you could sift through 189 pages on the Deleted section of TOP in search of the 11 separate waffle threads dispersed among them (the mods there decided to crack down on thread size)... Although back then it was by no means obvious how long they would let them stay available. Mort, I'll have Jarvis look through the Waffle Library in the East Wing. I'm sure he'll be able to find something. Files everything away he does, the crafty old bugler.

That link seems to show the Waffle incarnation for Feb this year, tinners. That wouldn`t contain the `old` film scripts that we`ve all been waxing sentimental about While I`m here, I think it`s worth pointing out that it was A that started the very first Waffle board which allowed for the wonderful flight of ridiculous imagination Ta A, should you be reading this

That link seems to show the Waffle incarnation for Feb this year, tinners. Ah, I see. Sort of. I must admit I was a bit 'serious' back in the old R3 days, and didn't really follow the film scripts regularly enough to have realised they were spread across 11 different threads as Ollie mentions. Ah well. At least that link shows all the amusingly truncated thread titles etc.
