Meine Güte, ihr seid alle total bescheuert... Makes you think though... why DO so many cats look like Hitler? Clearly there's something about his private life that not even the most assiduous efforts of generations of dedicated historians have been unable to bring to light. My apologies to the talented photographers among us. I shall now leave this thread to its topic.

Sorry about the sizes, MJ; the size I've chosen up to now fits my screen with room to spare: I can see that I'll have to reconsider.
Please don't apologise, Ron - maybe I can view them differently? Nothing happens if I click on them - somehow I need to have just the photo on the screen with nothing else around it. Perhaps if I go into Quote I can copy and paste and put it somewhere to view it properly? I hate to sound as if I'm complaining - I just want to see them in all their glory! Goodnight, sleep tight! MJ

You should skip the apologies to Germans (why?) and just apologize to every decent body. Edit: err... *wink*

Here's a shopfront which caught my eye today in Blairgowrie, capital of the soft-fruit lands.... .... just in passing, the street names here are bilingual, in Gaelic as well as English (apart from the reversal, it's a straight transliteration, though the aspiration of the Gaelic 'r' means that the initial sound of 'Street' may be represented by two letters rather than three: conversely, the two letters for the 'ie' sound in Leslie need three in Gaelic to achieve the same effect.
