Ron,

Aren't you having terrible weather up there too, or is that a summer photo?

With your permission may I make a R3okRon collection for wallpaper possibilities - monitor wallpaper, though that last one would be nice in the bedroom?  Cheesy

We've had several inches of rain today, I expect that means a foot of snow in parts of Scotland

That was taken just this afternoon, John: it's been clear and dry all day, although there was a frost this morning... So far here we've seen nae more than a flurry of the white stuff, but Fife had it bad a couple of days back. You can see from the calmness of the sea that the wind's right down, too, but we've more gales due.

If you'd like to make a collection, that's fine by me.

Hope you've got no leaks!

Fabulous Ron! What an incredible picture. Love it. Kiss

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

I am glad you are back with your beautiful pictures, Ron. I don't know why, but I can see that was a cold morning.
How did you make it as if you are looking through the window.

It was an easy job to do, t-p: I just superimposed the original picture, which was portrait format (i.e. higher than it was long) onto a landscape format plain black shape. My Mac picture viewer has black masking, and it struck me that the shot would look weaker if surrounded by white, particularly when the bottom of it was already so dark. Actually it's an evening shot, rather than the morning, and you're right: it wasn't very warm.

Ron,

I find the blues in your photos really astonishing, particularly the small contrasts between sea and sky in the first one.

Taken yesterday in Sussex - can any expert out there tell me what breed they are?

Hi Baz,

Not a very clear picture but I would say they are Red Limousins or maybe a Hereford Limousin cross.  Need to see a clear picture of their faces.

Nice rumps though!!  Wink

Hi A, Good to see you are back.
Actually it is good thing to have a birthday after holidays: Everybody is settling in a routine and you two are heading for vocations.  Wink Wink

Sunrise looks gorgeous, and the guls are almost as good as swans. Keep us posted where you are heading.

Ron, your pictures are art works. Blues are absolutely fab, painted by a great painter.

Now back to my last appointment (singer).
