Are Russian children told that Baboushka has left them presents at Christmas?

I can't claim chapter and verse on this one, not having any Russian children, but AFAIK Russian children have their toys left for them by a duo;  Ded' Moroz ("Gran'pa Frost"), and his mini-skirtted assistant Snegurochka ("Snow Maiden").
Thanks Reiner. Most of the online pictures of Ded' Moroz resemble Father Christmas. This Snegurochka is, not too surprisingly,on a Russia-Italia site...

I love Christmas. Everything about it.  I always have and I always will.  We're off to Lapland this year to see Santa and the elves and have some husky and reindeer rides, then home for putting lovely decorations up in the house, gorgeous tree (musical theme as always), loads of cards and I'm treating the family to Christmas lunch in a restaurant this year.  Everybody round to me on Boxing Day for buffet.  YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

If I win the lottery and can then afford a lovely big mansion with loads of room - it will be open house!  Grin

(Unfortunately chez-Mills is full to bursting with large extended family on celebratory occasions.... Smiley)

(There you go, Mills, that will be your quotes properly nested; all part of a day's work for the Moderation Team.)

I'm happy to announce that after a short tussle with Milly's quotes, I've been able to nest them properly. (See above.)
