. . . somebody who considers herself a "Suffik gel" . . .

Should we have more than once wondered the word "girl" rhyme with:

a) "shell"?

b) "twirl"?

c) neither?

neither: a word only used in The Land of Ease and Delight, where it is  pronounced "nurl".

I don't know how people can build such a beautiful things now. It does look like something that was not built long time ago.
Colours and materials are so beautiful.

I was very tempted by partidge as well. I thought it might be connected with Estonian composers, and someone had missed out the umlaut (or whatever it's called in Estonian). Turnage, on the other hand, is connected to a composer apparently named after a Roman politician.

...It isn't a piece that gets performed very often but, whether you end up liking it or not, it certainly counts as extremely 'Tippetty'. No one else could have written it and no one else would have included the odd moment when you just want to throttle him...

tippetty: adj. Description of a type of 20th-c English music apparently composed by a drunkard who needs throttling.
