Best wishes everyone. I'm just back from clock-watching at the neighbours' and now it's just a question of waiting until the fireworks subside before going to bed. I hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday and is suitably refreshed for the year to come.

Quite quiet here, thankfully. I wasn't here last new year and the year before I didn't have the double glazing that I've now got so it might just be the better sound insulation.
