Yes, Tony - Saint-Saëns' Africa, which is included on Stephen Hough's recording of the concertos, was completed in Cairo in 1891. The climax is based on a Tunisian folk-tune.

Phew, that was quite a race between Baz and me! When I first heard that clip, I tried to think of Russian composers. Saint Saens is a composer I've not taken a lot of interest in, although that Africa piece sounds very jolly.
