Is not puzzle 342 the First String Quartet of Bernard Hélène Joseph van Dieren? He wrote one in each of the years 1912, 1917, 1919, 1923, 1928, and 1931 you know.

It is indeed not. I was not aware of the 'information' contained in the rest of the above, either. Indeed, I think much of it to be erroneous.

Puzzle 327 - Marc-Antoine Charpentier - Concert for Four Viols
The presence of flutes kind of speaks against that solution.

Mr B, 347 is Tippett, either the Concerto for orchestra (middle movt.) or Symphony no. 2 (slow movt). Um, I'll plump for the Conc for Orch.  Undecided

An excellent plump, Mr Martle, on account of it being quite correct, and speedy also. I wasn't entirely sure how well-known the piece would be to other Members, having not heard it myself until quite recently on the infallible recommendation of Mr Dough.

Huzzah, we say! It's a cracker, that one. But, as you can tell, I haven't heard it recently. To the CD stacks!

A stab at Tommo's 343: Delius Cello Concerto?

Many thanks for having a stab (as I was feeling ignored), but I am afraid to say you are incorrect.  I'll try to think up some clues later.
