Benda?

Accolay?

Oh my goodness Sydney, you are a  hard task master, but we are all eternally grateful to you for starting this wonderful puzzle thread in the first place.

No, don't you dare dock me several more points for being off-topic when I was merely being complimentary to you.

Is it Karlowicz violin concerto? (for no 25)

Not Karłowicz's concerto (though it's a very fine piece), although it looks as if Mr Grew has already adjudicated on that one! (see running log above)

No 25, Berlioz: Caprice & Reverie..........

No, John.

Plenty of entertaining suggestions so far...  Smiley

Could I most respectfully point out to our Esteemed Quiz Adjudicator Mr. Grew that Madame Antheil's replies 217 and 225 were, in fact, answers to the Puzzle No. 25 set by Mr. Inquisitor (Lalo and Mendelsshon) and were therefore not off topic at all.  I think Madame Antheil should only be docked -40 points for being incorrect not -150 points.

In answer to Mr. Inquisitors Puzzzle No. 19 - is it Shostakovich 'The Bolt' ?

Yes, it is from The Bolt, Anna! Well spotted. It's sometimes known as the Drayman's Dance. 100 points to Madame Antheil!
