I'll have another go at 382...

Is it by Gervais-Francois Couperin (1759-1826) - perhaps his Variations on the Revoutionary song 'Ah, ça ira'?

It was neither Gervais-Francois nor Nicolas, though now we've entered the zone of diminishing returns, I think.

Puzzle 377: SS or RS
Henry Hadley, Symphony no. 2, second movement?

Not that we've heard it before...

Is incorrect, I'm afraid.

The M is correct, as is of course the Couperin, but not the rest. Sorry if this is frustrating... but the fellow was only discovered very recently, but the manuscript dates from ca. 1695.

Where he worked, they called him Coperino. Does that help?

382 - Marguerite-Antoinette Couperin (harpsichordist to Louis XV and teacher of his daughters)?

His name is actually Marc Roger Normand. He added Couperin for marketing purposes!!

This is an Air and Double, the air a transcription from Lully, the double a double by MRN

But full points nevertheless go to Mr. Sudden.

Still leaves 381. I'll offer another clue later about this English piano concerto from 1938.

Just for the heck of it I'll try the Arthur Bliss concerto.

Is there only one? Looks like it. But who is the soloist?

Hurrah!

It was written for Solomon so I guess it could well be him if that was the first recording...

Yes, it is Solomon. TF over and out. All three puzzles credited to Mr Sudden. This despite them not sharing a theme.

375 is Symphony no 11 by Joachim Raff. (Perhaps)

CLUETIME!

Puzzle 361: SS or RS

It was written as a tribute to the composer's birthplace.

Given the replies we have encountered so far, perhaps my second clue should be to request that you count the violins.

Mr 1780

Is 361 Sarasate's Navarra for two violins and orchestra?

Hurrah!  That's it.

Well done Mr Pop.
