No snow here today, not that I've seen anyway.

How was Anty's date? Hope that was hotter than the weather ... Grin

Anty, you seem to have turned into the Easter Bunny! Grin

That, tinners, is a hare. You can tell by the black tips to its ears. I'm not sure that hares count as bunnies. They are an (older?) Easter symbol though.

Anty says, no comment as to whether it was cold, luke warm, quite hot, or whether Katherine Jenkins sung the final aria.

My lips are s-s-s-s-sealed.

A hare it is. I stand gratefully corrected. I confess, I had not paid sufficient attention to the tips of its ears.

As for these ... :

We had about 5 - 6cm of snow here this morning but it's now almost all melted.  It has snowed a few times during the day but hasn't settled.  So glad we didn't go anywhere!

It's been a beautiful day here.  No snow but bright sunshine, crisp and very cold.  We've just come in after rampaging madly around the sand dunes for about an hour with the dog.  All of us exhausted now!  Happy though.   Cheesy

Oh Milly, how I wish we were near the sea to do that. Here we could choose between a muddy field or a supermarket carpark  Sad

We had lots of lovely deepish and crispish and evenish snow and little R made a splendid snowman. She and not-quite-so-little L had a great snowball fight and both came in soaked to the skin (no coats of course  Roll Eyes ). The bright sunshine soon melted most of it away though there were still small patches left this evening. The snowman lost an eye in the sun and drooped into a most amazing snowguineapig! I hope I can post a pic of it tomorrow er, later today, as its accidental creator took several with her mobile.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

More snow this morning, hailstones ten minutes ago which have now turned into more snow. If I have to put any more layers of clothing on I will be incapable of movement! Grin Grin

Strong sunshine up here, Mort, although the wind-chill factor has reduced the temperature outside to a Baltic sub-zero.

I've just heard the unmistakeable tones of the local ice-cream van going down the road - you have to admire the optimism.

Grin Grin Yes, I heard the first one of the year a couple of days ago, PW. It parked hopefully on the corner jingling away merrily, ignoring the blasting wind and sleet. I didn't rush out for a 99! Cheesy

Mind you, the Russians are very big on ice cream.

(And, let's face it, even many of those who aren't on ice cream are still pretty big.)
