baa to that!! Grin

Its strange isnt it, sometimes, how  at a certain time of year, that the weather is always the same, like, rain!! We have this dreadfull fun fair that comes to town at this time of year and every time they arrive, you know what the weather is going to be like and sure enough, low and behold, it comes true!! Rain!! And it has!! And then when they leave, the sun returns!

Raining here in the NW this morning, first rain we've had for ages. I'm quite glad - it means I won't have to water my flower pots.

It's gloomy and drizzling on the NW coast.  The garden does need some rain so we can't complain.  We've had an amazing week and into each life a little rain must fall.... Wink It's a shame for the workers that it's come at the weekend but nothing we can do.

I was despairing of getting any cricket to watch today - it's been grey and wet all day. I did however pop into Harborne's ground at 3-30 and, much to my surprise, they'd just started playing. I was the only person there watching them of course. We had some more rain but they started again almost as soon as it had stopped. However it was so cold, despite the 4 layers of clothing which I was wearing, that I had to leave them to it at 5-20 - my fingers were going numb Sad

Miserable and cold today almost all day.  Actually put my 2nd jumper back on and went for a walk by the river with a coat on.  Pah!

Humid and cloudy here with that awful white glare you get when the sun is trying to break through the clouds.  Hurts the eyes.

The forecast is good here for tomorrow but then it's downhill all the way from Sunday and over Bank Holiday Monday.  Great for a holiday resort!  It's traditional though to have wet bank holidays.  Goes with the territory.  Roll Eyes

We were promised light rain this afternoon, what we got was a violent thunderstorm with torrential rain (the lane is flooded) and lightning.  I sat at work, quaking, in fear that my computer would suffer the same fate as Morts.  Luckily all seems to be well.  It is our annual neighbourhood barbeque tomorrow :-(

Off topic, but is the MB undergoing maintenance?  It is most painfully slow, took me 20 mins just to get here and log in.  It was unresponsive yesterday as well for some hours.

Same for me, Anty... (slow MB, not dodgy weather, it's rather nice here although it threatened a sprinkling a couple of hours back...)

Mmm, the MB does does seem to have been performing a bit erratically for the last 24 hours. I keep getting thrown off because the connection has 'timed out'.  I'm assuming it's the Myforum365 set up as a whole.

Same here - haven't been able to get in at all for the last couple of hours:  and M and S is difficult to log into as well.

Both boards have been very slow, or unavailable, for the past hour or so. Things seem to have improved for the moment. Let's hope whatever was causing the problem is now dealt with. We shall see.
