Well, I drove to Wales/ Antyland today. It took nearly 8 hours, but that's a subject for the Rant Room. Weatherwise, it was gorgeous and warm, right up to the border, then it started to p*** it down, mixing in thunder and lightning as it felt like it. Then suddenly, as I approached the west coast, it got lovely again. A generally good day promised tomorrow, but since I have to work am I bovvered?  Undecided

We've woken up to a lovely sunny day here on the NW coast but a bit breezy.  We shall see.   It's supposed to all go pear-shaped from tomorrow onwards.

Mmm, the MB does does seem to have been performing a bit erratically for the last 24 hours. I keep getting thrown off because the connection has 'timed out'.  I'm assuming it's the Myforum365 set up as a whole.

Ho Mort,
I had the same problem yesterday and the day before

I decided to walk into town through the woods, buy a birthday present, grab the two of us some lunch and walk back through the woods.  It was idyllic and thoroughly enjoyed by both, but unfortunately when we got home we discovered I'd lost his anorak which I'd taken "in case".  I probably dropped it in the woods or left it in the cafe.  No time to go back now though unfortunately.  Expensive one too.  Sad

Result!!!!  We just whizzed back to the woods in the car and found the jacket still on one of the seats halfway through the woods.  Cheesy  We took the dog this time but it's not much fun taking a dog through there - it's like Crufts.  So many dogs and most of them totally out of control.  I kept him on his lead the whole time but dogs were constantly rushing up to us and making nuisances of themselves.  The thing is, boxers are very good natured for the most part but if another dog kicks off, they don't tend to lose if there's a fight. Quite stressful really with a child and a dog in that situation.  Anyway we managed to avoid any trouble and came back with the jacket.

To keep this thread as it's supposed to be - sorry for the deviation - it's still beautiful weather here.  Glorious sunshine and quite warm!  Grin

Good news on all fronts apart from the other dogs, then Mills. As so often, it's not the dogs so much as their owners who are the problem....

Sound of rain during the night, and tipping it down now, more rain than I can remember for months.
