Oh dear.  I'm just on my way to Stirling, pasing through Doncaster.  I'm going to get wet.

By the way, it's dull here, but dry.

According to the BBC radar/satellite map it was sunny here in Brum at midday - well it certainly wasn't, it's been grey, wet and misty here. We obviously had a lot of rain during the night, though I didn't hear it or any thunder.

I was going to Edgbaston today but they abandoned today's play yesterday because of Monday's rain. Now I doubt there'll be any play tomorrow.

If it's any consolation you won't be wet all the way, it's dry here at the moment (almost sunny!) and looks like it's clear all the way to the west coast, so it's probably dry in Doncaster. Smiley

Felt inspired to play Hendrix's Rainy Day, Dream Away for some reason. But don't think I'll bother with Long Hot Summer Night Sad

You'd be well advised to prepare for a bit of wet in Stirling, chap.

It's been raining all day here (and in Leeds) but no thunder.  Torrential downpour on the A64 on the way back from work this afternoon but no sign of any tornados  Sad

Surely I can't have been the only one to have been woken up by the thunder during the night? Here there were two huge thunder(claps), though it's always far more than a clap if you ask me, the sort that for the first five seconds or so doesn't seem too bad, and then it suddenly lowers in pitch and the walls shake!!! All very exciting. Didn't see any lightning at all.
I heard them in SW London Eru, though herself managed to sleep right thorough them.

My other half heard them the night before that in SE London, I slept through!
It started beautifully today... sandals and shirt weather in Greenwich .. but then... the heavens opened and it is chilly and wet in SE London again!!

It's been lovely today here - at least it was earlier, it's now raining (the fine stuff that gets you all wet...)

It's been gorgeous here all day.  It got very warm indeed this afternoon.  No rain as yet. They're going to lay all the new turf tomorrow, so rain tomorrow would be great - speaking purely personally of course.  Grin

Sunny today after yesterday's miserable weather wiped out any chance of cricket. So I'm off to the ground at Walmley to see the Warks 2nd XI. Smiley

It's a beautiful morning here. The sky is blue, the birds are singing and the sun is, er, sunning. Even the air feels 'clean' somehow, which is saying something for The Big Smoke Smiley
