It seems like it BBM according to the latest 5 day forecast.  Sad  Perhaps September may be better?

I would advise Martle, if he is heading back to Cymru to pack a wetsuit, some flippers, a snorkel and an inflatable dinghy.  We have had a monsoon of epic proportions just now and it is pitch black, nay, starless and bible black, slow, black, coal black, crow black, blue black raven black, pit pony black with blinded eyes, the boats bobbing like corks in the harbour (although the moles are fine tonight in the snouting damp velvet dingles)

I only post this to get richard barrett homestick for Abertawe and The Brangwyn Hall  Cheesy

We've just had that same downpour.  Today's paper says this may be the wettest August since records began.  We did have a hot, sunny spell which coincided with leaving the cinema at 4.30.  That lasted until about 6, then the heavens opened and there was a veritable monsoon a short time ago.

Maybe Anty's right and we'll have an Indian summer in September.

We're having it now.  I'm glad at least that it waited until I got home.

Anty x a plague of Welsh locusts and a couple of salty sea hot dogs

You sure know how to sell a place. Perhaps there's a bit more admin to do here after all.  Roll Eyes

Marty x The New Severn Bridge and a bucket of Severn Estuary Elvers and a quick chorus of Cwm Rhondda.

I have no wish to put off people coming here but it's been blowing such a hooley that me Feng Shui crystals were battering the double glazing fit to bust that I had to shut the transoms.

Beautifully sunny and warm up here today, and not a droplet in sight.  Smiley

We had a heck of a hooley last night to. I was thinking along the lines of Ferde Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite, Cloudburst or Britten's Storm Movt in Peter Grimes.

I would much, much, much rather have had a real summer.

Looks as if we still might need our furs, though....

Typical of this country that they can't even get global warming right.
