Thank you ollie, 1000 pianos and everyone is playing - my dream come true. It is very elegant.
A, I know what you mean. It is what I mean that eludes me sometimes. I think you all are fantastic people, so intelligent and erudit and also kind. Long live internet.

Thank you Morticia, it is good to hear from a great girl. I wish your health is back to normal and you take it easy for a while until the complete recovery.

T-p is the soul of the board. It is not just the number of posts, it is the variety and the willingness to be interested and intrigued by such differing threads.
I am glad that the board gives t-p as much pleasure as her posts give to others, idiosyncratic language and all !

t-p,
I won't need to tell you when you've reached 1000 personal posts - all your stars will start spinning round and flashing red green and bue.............
By the way, 846 posts in 8 days 3 hours and 51 minutes..... that's a little over 13 minutes per post. Come on now, Chop Chop! It'll take you a day and 9 hours to get your 1000.
(I have 336 posts in 2 days 14 hours and 56 minutes, so that's a post every 11 minutes. Ha ha ha - faster than you! But might take me a little longer to get to 1000!)
Tommo
Hmm. <strokeybeardemoticon> At 11pm on 8 March, I predicted you would take a day and 9 hours to reach 1000 posts. So you should have passed this milestone at 8am on Saturday 10 March. What tookya so long? Obviously I will now have to deduct points for slacking....... Tommo

Thank you Mary Chambers and BobbyZ. I appreciate everyone's comment and I am so impressed by people's sense of humour and acceptance etc. Tommo, I tried to limit myself with my post, but then would forget it. I feel that this board reveals inner person more than just ordinary conversation. May be it is only for me because I am not distracted with visual part of it.

But today's big mystery must surely be:
Why have t-p's stars not started spinning round and flashing red, green and blue? Or at least changed colour and/or been augmented by another one? Or something?
Is five stars all there is? Surely there should be something to differentiate the mighty Everest that is t-p's contribution from, for example, my lowly Kosciuszko?

T-p,
Did you get a special e-mail from the Queen, or one from Michael? (That's assuming they are two different people.)

While I wrote the message there are such beautiful stars now. Wow wee. I did not get an e-mail. May be internet is slow today. I am happy with the same stars. I am not in it for power. We are democracy. Plus we do not want it to go to my head. The fact that one is prolific doesn't make one an intellectual star, rather on the contrary. I love our visual displays. They are versatile and can express all emotions possible. Here is one for you ollie I am glad you are back and that performance went really well from what I could gather. May be I will hear it one day.

Ho t-p. Warmest congratulations. I've found, on reading your Messages, that they have often started me thinking about what I think could be your philosophy of life. I have learned quite a lot from you that has returned me to a more straightforward attitude with less concentration on those things that are complicated and difficult. For this, I thank you, and hope that you continue here for at least 50,000 messages. Cheers.

Thank you, soundwave. I am kind of prone to concentrate on bad things myself, but I had to teach myself to think about other matter. There are so many opportunities. May be I overdid the hating it all part of life and got sick. I understood that hating people that don't do what I want them to do is bad for anyones health. Good attitude to life helps one feel good. Now I know that one's attitude is a skill that people can learn. I wish you health and keep posting please because your natural intelligence and vast music experience is comming through your posts. Thank you, Susan. I have computer here for a year now soon and I have to say I took to it like duck to water. I love it and am not afraid of it. Also I have big desire to learn more about music and I love interact with people. I enjoy your posts very much. I wanted to write to you that Volodos was performing on Composer of the week (Liszt). He played really fantastically well. It was Schubert-Liszt. I wanted you to enjoy. Best wishes,
