I don't know why but I've woken up this morning with an unaccountable urge to wander the streets and see if I can find someone called Warren Mailley-Smith and invite them to come and play the piano for me. I don't even have a piano. It's all very unsettling. I've never felt this way before.

Is it possible to meet Warren Mailley-Smith on the street? At least one has to be in the same town.
I put it down to stress, stress in connection with computer.
Alternatively you can invite some other pianist here to play on none existen piano in your house. Also you may want someone to play on your computer keyboard. This cuts in cost and there is no renting piano (or buying) involved.

I have accompanied WMS on a couple of occasions.  (Not in the street, in performance.....  Oh you know what I mean!). I think he is based a little to the south west of your neck of the woods, GG, if you want to wander anywhere.  I seem to remember a pretty good Warsaw Concerto, so expect that genre.

(If you are serious, I can get in contact for you.)

Free onscreen piano keyboard here

Not terribly useful, but quite fun for doodling with.

Re message 1366

I think that George maybe referring to the legendary sponsered links, but I could be wrong and maybe we have just witnessed the birth of a beautiful new quest.

Here it comes. This is my 1000 post.
I have to say, that now I eat in front of computer and it is my best companion. I am listening to music and resting with it (when it works well). My other half doesn't mind because he is busy and computer keeps me happy.
So I hope it is for everyone's benefit and I hope I don't get on your nerves too much.

Thank you all.
<kisses>
ps I feel that the bells are wringing and I am so excited I can not even fetch smileys. I am going away to cry.

Congratulations t-p!

This really calls for a special k-bagging award - a personal k-bag, a k-bag just for t-p

Can we merge these two?

[Although when I searched for "k bag for t-p" i got this......

http://www.noveltp.com/discussion/mailbag/index.html

What?]

Brilliant t-p, we love your posts and words of wisdom (and your inadvertant malapropisms).  Carry on Posting!

Thank you, Tommo. I think I am going to treat myself to several of these wanderful bags. I like the sued ones and I liked the one with pianoboard very much. I like them all. I don't know how to get them though.

Hurrah t-p!

But this is surely the only fitting tribute:

1000 players at 1000 pianos.
