Is it Japanese garden?
I'm afraid not. I'm not sure how you'd describe the nationality of that garden. It was incredibly overgrown and now it's just a bit scruffy. Did you discuss music while gardening?
A little. Mostly we discussed what she was going to plant and where. Did you listen to him play?
Not this time. I haven't heard her play since she did her last concert in our department.

That garden is so incredibly refreshing to look at after contemplating the hopeless world of Der Leiermann in another thread.

I am beginning to seize up now so I'm going to have a bath before dinner.
Of course I have to clean it first. Did you discuss music while gardening?
Toru Takemitsu, perhaps? Garden Rain Music of TreesEucalyptsSpirit Garden This has inspired me to put on an LP of early Takemitsu (Cassiopeia for solo percussion + orchestra). Music to clean by. What ever happened to Stomu Yamash'ta?

As long as you don't get the Japanese Knotweed Garden by Michael Tippettu, you'll be OK

We have a CD called "Bridges to Japan" which I got from a friend who is friends with Noriko Ogawa. It's a very strange CD with all sorts of odd pieces on it including the composers Bunya Koh, Kazuo Yamada and Ryutaro Hirota, none of whom I'd heard (or heard of) until I got this CD!

Michael Tippettu
And I always thought he was just Tippett-a-san! Or perhaps I am confusing him with Tippett-aka ... [begins humming] "monkey magic! monkey magic!" [cue men in white coats with sad-old-fart removal van]

Well, this is my 500th post.
I guess I really ought to finally earn my stars on the Waffle thread, seeing as the majority of my posts are on the Coffee Bar Board.
I wonder if t-p will be at 2,500 when I reach 1,000? (Probably in June).
Come on then star - get thee above my avatar......
