I think that depends who is performing, and upon what they are performing really...

Did Rogers Covey-Crump ever appear with Crispian Steele-Perkins? They are my two favourite names

Ho Oliver. Yes, there is a feeling of sadness but, underlying it in my case, a layer of anger and disappointment. Hey ho! I shall install the story characters over here tomorrow. They will survive. Good night and fair dreams to you Oliver ( I still can hear a far distant, faint "hooooooooooon"

Not teary, but I am filled with a very warm feeling as I think about all of the time I've spent on the waffle thread (in particular) of all the fabulous people that I've met on the boards, and of all the pointers and discussions that I've been privy to on the New Music board. Long may it all continue both here and on the new look R3 boards. I'm going back to a little bit of numerical annotation to a recent piano score. hh

Well, here we all are, some of us anyway. I think I'll turn in for the night, having an early morning flight tomorrow to London's historic Luton Airport, gem of Gothic architecture, and look forward to seeing what's become of the other place in the morning. Good night everyone.

Ollie,
Thought I'd pop in after wiping down my tusk and putting it away for another, erm, 344 say, posts, and congratulate you on the last waffle post. It couldn't have hapened to a nicer bloke.
A Hoon Gate concerto to celebrate? Could you oblige with a score hh?
Very best wishes to all,
And now I to my truckle bed go

Hi Ollie Oh dear. talk about the final closing of the dooors. Yes, I`m sad too. I don`t think, as far as Waffle goes, it can ever be replicated because there was an element of `naughtiness` there. Ohhh, what can we get away with? You know? Sill, we woz there at the end (you little minx) you got the last post! <llaugh> However, it is still a sad time, for R3 in geneeral. Arrogant, dictatorial behaviour. Grr. `Still, I ain`t done yet`, said Esmerelda......>

I think the only thing I can squeeze out of my Gate this evening would go something like this: Don't quite feel like a minx at the moment. I'll cheer up though. My life was relatively eventful during my Waffle Period. I think some of that's a bit caught up in it. Perhaps A knows how I feel... I think I'll have to go to bed now and dream of marsupials.

A morning ho to everybody. Groans, swallows two Paracetamol tablets with coffee. Looks in mirror; shudders and looks rapidly away. Looks at old MBs and amazed to find Waffle thread still active. Posts. Groans, moves to comfortable chair and sinks down. Hmmmm!
