He looks as though he's got a peace lily growing out of his head.

I bet you all wish I hadn't got round to uploading my photos!  Roll Eyes

The photos are nice but I'm more of a cat person myself...

Just for you then Richard as you posted that lovely little Chihuahua/mixed with Jack Russell

My son's cat, Brembo. (Brembo is apparently the name of some car part or other... Huh)

He wouldn't even make a snack!  Dudley's had bigger things than that stuck in his teeth.  Grin

This is Bruno our Dogue de Bordeaux after he'd had his paw stitched when he trod on some glass.

He's enormous now Mary.  He was only a pup then.  He's like a small donkey now.  A lot of people think that my dogs are ugly.  I can't understand it!   Huh Grin   Grin

Glad you like the kitten anyway.  My whole family loves all animals.  Both my sons have cats as well.  I love their cats, but I wouldn't own one because of all the reasons previously mentioned on the subject.

<wanders into thread with a large bag of Bonios>

Great dog pics, especially Milly's  husky puppies. They're adorable Smiley

I'd love a dog, but am often out all day or for virtually a whole weekend, so it wouldn't be fair on the dog. I just make the most of it when I'm with dog-owning friends or relatives (my dad has two retired greyhounds, my sister has an elderly bearded collie, my mum has a mad Heinz, and a friend often dog-sits his mum's retired greyhound or one of his friends' Jack Russell).

Ah, happy days of youth, getting home from school, changing into my trainers and dog-walking my cares away - even if it was somehow always my turn to walk the dog when it was raining  Huh.

Huskies are a subject of some contention here: daughter's b/f wants one. He will:
  • keep it outside in all weathers, without a kennel
  • feed it slop (we have not been able to secure a definition of slop to date)
Somehow, I don't think it is going to happen in the foreseeable future.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

I shouldn't be allowed out!   Shocked

When I go out for a long stretch of time, I put Dudley in the kennels for the day so he doesn't get bored.  I went along to drop him off this morning and saw a notice in there....my friend who owns the Kennels breeds German Shepherds and pugs...."Pug puppy for sale - last one".  I've always loved pugs so when I went to collect Dudley at 4.30 when I got back, I asked to see him.  Fatal!  So I've bought him and he'll be ready in two weeks.

He is GORGEOUS! He's all black with a glossy coat, enormous eyes and a lovely little squashed-up face.  Dudley got on great with him too.  We'll have to watch that he doesn't trample him underfoot by accident at first, but I'm sure he'll get used to him.  Child and teenager are over the moon!  I've actually never owned a pup because I've always rescued boxers aged from 1-3 years.  Should be quite a steep learning curve.  Smiley

It might be suggested that I've got enough problems without letting myself in for another dog, but as I spend my whole life doing things for other people, I thought that just for once, I'd so something for me.

He's called William.  Kiss

Milly!!  What have you done?   Huh  Pugs are small with short legs, how on earth will he keep up with Dudley on your long walks on the dunes?  Will you have to walk them separately?

I had a black and white cat called William!
