Would you agree, martle, that there are few things to make one happier than the first fag before a cup of tea or coffee has been consumed?

Ian, there are quite a few things that irk me more than the slightest hint of second hand tobacco smoke that wafts forwards from the back of the bus (even though I have my driver's window wide open), when I am driving a colleague back from a day's work, but each time I sense it, I feel this rush of a homicidal tendency towards that colleague. Poison youself, by all means, but don't force it on others, please.

Understood (and I would find it hard to argue against the measures being brought in in July). But the particular ciggy experience I was describing is generally enjoyed in the privacy of one's own home?

I was a bit worried about whether I'll still be able to smoke inside nightclubs. But the one I go to most often was closed down last weekend in a drugs raid (nine dealers arrested ) so I guess they have bigger things to worry about for now. Not sure why I'm posting this in the Happy Room ...

Good morning everyone. I am up early today. Is there anyone for a cup of herb tea? Or everyone here drinks coffee in the morning?
