My mate Alan says best to find a girl with a house, as you can get kicked out of it.

Though, he does now really enjoy living on his motorhome so all is well that ends well.

Al PacaMac.

Is that a variation of I'll get my coat?

It is nice to live on the yaht too. I have a friend who used to live on a boat. Houses in Dublin are very pricy too.

Ron Dough. I am sorry I put Shishkin here, I truly am.
But Shishkin was never so versatile and as far as I know he only painted trees. You have montains too as far as I can see. Also Shishkin never had lamas on his pictures (painted by him or anybody else).

Don't worry, t-p, I didn't really mean it, just a touch of paranoia.

To prove I'm not serious, here they are again.....

Im a bit concerned Milord that Alan is living onhis motorhome-is this a hermit hairshirt regime whereby he straps himself to the roof? If so, are there any health benefits? I feel perhaps hI should have tried this in Bognor recently rather than windsurfing the promenade.

Bangor is beautiful, but I know Aberystwyth better. I walked so many times on this beach and have such a happy memory of the place.

May be Ron Dough will go there and make even better pictures than this one. I think this picture give one a good idea of the place, but Ron's are studies in depth of the subject. The trees in fog are so beautiful.

No, where is it? I lived in Aberystwyth about four years. Is your picture in England? It doesn't look like USA or Canada or Russia. Is it Italy? It is beautiful.

Interesting, especially the Italian connection you perceive. It's in Wales - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmerion

We never went to Cardif or any south cities. We were under a lot of stress at a time. I still love Aberystwyth, but other memories are not good (the way we were treated). I was so stressed out there you can not imagine. We had to sell the house and beautiful Bechschtein grand piano in a hurry and leave. I still can not recover from parting with Bechschtein and to think Bartok played on it. It was so beautiful you would not believe it. I am crying as I am typing it now. I loved that piano. I can still see the keys and shape. It was so hard to part with it. It was brown colour. The sound and action were so good. I just love it love it love it (still do).

Where is this place Ian. You said it was South Wales. I am looking at pictures of Cardiff. I am so sorry I never saw the place.
The situation in Aber University was very bad really. There were cuts right left and central and I thought that management was very bad, but I should not be critical. Who am I to say.
It was miserable place for people who worked there (native and foreigneres alike).
This is not a good topic for Happy room. It was such a lovely place otherwise. The beauty of the nature was astonishing.

t-p, that's so sad.

I had to leave something brown behind too, when I moved. Even though she's got a wonderful new home and two doting owners, she's sorely missed...

My piano is in good hands. She is a wife of a lecturer and amazing thing is that they moved too and are in Ireland with the piano, but on the other side of the country closer to you, near Dublin.
I love your cat. She is so nice and lovely. But it is such a relief to know that she is in good hands.
I love cats. And her coat is so nice. Such a sweet animal (for me not for birds).
Her colours are amazing. She is a little like a fox with dark face and legs. She is so good looking.
she is on the right thread because she gives happiness.
