I once met Max Bygraves. I went to a show of his with a friend of mine from junior school and we went backstage to meet Max - I think a relative of my friend was also in the show. It didn't make me very happy.  |

Mort trudges to the kitchen for the superglue to re-attach the 9" heels to her faux leopard skin wrestling boots. With a heavy sigh she removes her floral print overall and thermal socks, heats up the Carmen rollers and looks longingly at her mug of Horlicks.
`Just as I thought I`d got the night off` she sighed wistfully.
