While I was programmes editor for our concert series here, I was often heard to ask 'what did we do before google?'

My answer is I used Yahoo!  Cheesy

Still do so most of the time.

I am happy because I came from Athenry. I had a lovely time. And as I was writing this message a phone call came and we are invited for a party tomorrow.
Do you say when it rains it pours? It was not raining too much here, but we have rain on and off.

In my preparation for painting the spare room I cleaned one wardrobe and it is empty now. I am going to sell it or get rid of it. The room is small and it dominates it too much.
What I was trying to say in my messages was that I got rid of some old cloths.

I am happy here today. I am going to post the biggest part of the poem I copied from a friend's book while waiting for her to get ready.

I wish people have a good day too.

Oddly enough, I used to know another rather nice russian lady who liked classical music ( played the violin ), art and a little bit of poetry.

Russians are COOL

Some Russians are cool, my Lord. Yet some are very spiky.

I suspect the ones who like the arts are mostly ok.

That's great Jonathan-now and again you run into people for whom the essentials of how you know each other don't change.  A good friend of mine was 'under the knife'a couple of days ago, walking around with
everything crossed that it went well, but when we meet next week ,or were it next year, she's one of those.
Today is my last ever day residentially in Sarf Lundun, through the good offices of Mort here I have found a new and very agreeable gaff. I have had a lot of life-changing experiences here, one or two of them very nice, but an awful lot of grief, and fielding of those who dish it out on a regular basis as their vocation. Brighter Vistas await- it need not be uncloudly of course, but metaphorically I feel the rain is about to stop, give or take the vagaries of the Northern Line.

I`ve  just noticed that Big Ron is back from his wandering. That`s a good enough reason to be happy, innit? Welcome back Ron! Kiss Kiss

Thanks for the welcome, Mort.  Wink

Yes, the sizeable Ron has returned to the UK, and is likely to remain here for several months, though visits South Of The Border, particularly to Somerset and Powys look likely, and just possibly even The Smoke.... Smiley

Everything's very green up here...

Thanks for that - I'd not noticed his absence: I'll see if I can summon him back!

Yes, green and sizeable. Does that mean "capable of being measured by a yardstick"?
