Fab martle, (not turtle). It has a look of Pembry, in S Wales . I don't have any photos on the comp of that but it is a 3 mile blue flag beach... gorgeous!
Thanks A

And here's a non-coastline one for Milly. Monument valley, Arizona. One of my favourite places.

What is this place, martle? Is it real? I love that Trafford Centre. It is so happy and colorful. I know Aberystwyth very well. We lived there for close to four years. It is so beautiful there. They have horses there too, not only sheep. I saw them riding horses alone the street.

Wow, this horse is beautiful. The coat is so thick for a horse and long.
Arizona is hot, really hot. We had to take all guests to Los Vegas. So we drove from Orange county to Los Vegas a few times, but we did not go to this beautiful spot. The sky in California was blue most of the time and not a cloud in sight. This picture must be taken in a winter when they have rain in Arizona.

I'd love to live overlooking the sea, like Milly, but I don't live far from here (Crosby beach with Anthony Gormley's Iron Men): and here (Ainsdale):

Lovely Mary. There are of course disadvantages to having a house built on sand. There is a biblical precedent of course... The view is wonderful and never the same twice - but of course in the winter it is very bleak and very sandy!!!! What lovely pictures of forests and the countryside on this thread also. I've been to Castlerigg and walked in that stone circle.
