I gained more teaching today  Grin
And I've actually got a contract for the job I'm starting on Monday  Grin
Though I'm not signing it yet because the salary isn't the same as the one I was offered  Angry
But for tonight, I've had some good food, some good company, have a functioning library card so have some nice CDs to monch through, so I'm doing quite well  Grin
And I'm going to a party tomorrow  Grin

Good luck from me too hh.
Hope it was a good party!

And that the correct salary's as you were originally told.

Thank you Ron Dough for beautiful pictures again. Autumn leaves are beautiful and your mastery is amazing.
It is good to be one with life and not preoccupied with selfish motives.
One is just happy to see all that around.

I am happy for hh. That proves my point that things always find their equilibrium.

So far it's dull here today, but I made the most of yesterday's light and was out for most of it, with the cameras on board. Here's one for t-p:

Thank you, A.

bbm:
Although it looks like typical English beechwood, it's actually tucked away in Scotland, between Carnoustie and Forfar. Walk for less than a mile and you can see the Cairngorms, a mile and a bit the other way and you're at a spot I've photographed regularly, (near to the village of Whigstreet, if you've a road atlas to hand).

Ron, you have 'almost' convinced me that your area of Scotland is 'nearly' as good as around Redpoint, Gairloch over on the extreme West. I have to say I like the bleak hills and Lochs of that part... Loch Marie etc... wonderful !!

I've not even convinced myself of that yet, A, but the fact that it was only a twelve minute train ride to hear Renaud Capuçon play a stunning Prokofiev First Violin Concerto with the RSNO in Dundee and to catch the brilliant production of Peer Gynt at the Rep. last week does help to make up for it: soft country as well as the hard, this side.

2508 is another master piece. I just look at the picture and it makes me happy. The beauty of the world is breath taking.
I love the way sun goes through the branches. The clarity, colours and light, the whole composition is amazing.

Thanks, Ron, for a reminder of the autumnal splendour in Scotland.

And, A, two weeks ago today, I was at Gairloch after the awesome descent to Loch Maree (sic).      "'tis in my memory lock'd, and I alone shall keep the key."
