Here's another of yesterday afternoon's pictures: apart from the beechwood at Denside, much of the day was spent in Glen Clova, one of the Angus glens which poke into the Cairngorms beyond Kirriemuir (birthplace of J M Barrie) in rather the way that the fingers of an outstretched hand might leave indentations if lowered into a lump of dough.

Yippee ! At last I have got a comuter installed at home ! so now I can get back onto the messageboards. So much has happened since I was on the "Gone missing" thread....I couldn't begin to explain.

To cut a long story short:

a)I'm now retired (since 31st Oct)Which feels a huge relief,as I wasn't functioning - but I dont know how I'll afford to live.
b) I'm still not yet divorced from the suicidal maniac of a soon-to-be-ex-husband(who is currently away in Scotland until 28th Nov, when he will no doubt move back into the house and behave as if nothing is happening...)
c)I now have a computer at home

Yippee!  x Jan x

Welcome back, Jan: looks from the above as if you were needing a 'p' when you typed that.

Kitty,

That train of thought has led me down the path to imagining a character from G&S eating mice.

Radio 3 has just made me a happy bunny by playing some Handel. In fact I would go as far as to say that it`s given me a "lift". Smiley Smiley

And hopefully uncle Ron will make you a happy bunny today with another picture, Mort, since you're one for skies.

After a bright start to the day, there were suddenly clouds this afternoon: but as I came over the ridge at Monikie (M'n-EE-key), with its distant prospect of St Andrews and the Fife Coast, there were shafts of sun slanting into the Firth of Tay. (Picture as shot, btw, apart from resizing....)
