Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

I suggested it as an abbreviation for "click on the image to see a larger version" ages ago but it never took off. Then Ollie used it the other day for one of his pix so I thought I'd give it another go.

Thanks, martle! Actually, come to think of it, I'd quite happily be here.... ....which I could quite easily manage in less time that it takes to write the average post: sadly, it doesn't really look like that today.

Ron Dough, How can you read my mind? I am talking about No 2814. Just the thought of palm trees and sun makes me feel good.
I love Andy's duck too.

And do you know what, t-p? I was thinking of you as I posted it. I promise I'll post summer pictures regularly through the dark days to give us something warm to focus on. That one's from the Red Sea coast of Egypt, by the way.
