My e mail is now up and running ( :-*for 'testing' it, dearie) I have some Nige gammon to finish off tonight. Yum. What, he remotely made your dinner as well as fixing your computer And ... the weekend beckons, complete with green carnations! And hats! (Or were we keeping that a secret, Mort???) I'm a bit disturbed because I didn't think Mary Chambers was the sort of person to wear pyjamas all evening.

I'm a bit disturbed because I didn't think Mary Chambers was the sort of person to wear pyjamas all evening. Whereas the rest of us could wear pyjamas at whatever of the hour of the day with impunity and a slur uponst our reputation? I have to report some of our Members have Bertie Basset PJs, whilst others, sad as they are, have Rupert Bear combinations. And I buglared up the quotes again.

As I've hinted before, if you think that's a ruined image, heavens knows what you'll make of the real Ron Dough...

That's where you're going wrong, Anty! The Catholic Herald has the gayest editorial staff in Fleet Street (well, it's not actually in Fleet Street, but you know what I mean ...).
Ron, aren't we as likely to disappoint you as you are us?

I worked from home today - well, strictly speaking Friday's a day off but I had to catch-up on something I'd failed to do during my last 2 PPA afternoons and have been too tired to tackle during the evenings... Funny that so many of us were in PJs today - I started my work at 9 in mine and didn't finish it till 3 - I might have got dressed had I realised it would take so long! I then had a well-deserved soak in a hot, bubbly bath with Brahms - bliss! Which reminds me of Ernie's Rubber Ducky song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWqCReOXjZMPS For anyone who's interested, the work was writing IEPs and IBPs* - 28 in total for a class of 27 children! 7 don't have one so that's 28 between 20 *Individual Education/Behaviour Plans

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.
