Ho A,
Yes, I am fine thanks!  I only realised just now that my post (SQUEAK) could be

a) a quote from Terry Pratchett's "Soul Music" (from which KBs photo of Death with the guitar came from)
b) the sound of someone with a very sore throat trying to say something

Seeing as I am fully recovered, it's a)!!!

Hey, lady, you talking to me??

Not touched a bow in a while! Busy family stuff, but now my daughter has moved out we are occupying the new BIG spare room with useful things (see Now Spinning thread which mentioned ironing board, gym bike and daughter's left-behind midi-hi-fi  Smiley

So, other useful thing to put in spare room - the violin! And there's a nice tall mirror still in there.

Maybe this weekend.

Also, must 'pluck' up courage for lessons.

I decided to use one of these automatic coin-counting/voucher-dispensing machines today at my local supermarket, having had quite a large amount of change filling up some much needed containers in my room.  It was a delightful experience, for two reasons.

1: the rather loud noise that all those coins made, jingling their way through the machine, was something delightful.  Very loud.  Like continuously winning on a one-armed bandit over a courses of ten minutes, only without the gambling-connotations.

2: I had 130 euro worth of change!

Do you have to pay a fee to use those machines? Here in the US we do.

Nice one, Increpatio. Me and my wife use those machines. Very good idea and a certain percentage goes for charity as well.

BTW, me and mrsBBM go on holiday tomorrow!! Hopefully, the weather be better than it is here. We're going to Spain, Calella, near Barcelona.
