Seems to be a productive day today.

(for me that usually means getting nothing done in the next few)

Going out for a burger.

Well done hh!
Hmmmmmmm........., well I not too sure that my culinery skills is not up to my wife's standards.
I've never been very clever at double negatives, BBM, but I do think that's one too many for modesty! Wink
Since this is the Happy Room I am also pleased to report that as of today I have finished the two longest "movements" of my current work-in-progress, which is for cello and piano and electronic sounds.
And well done Richard!
Exciting to think that r3ok composers are busy composing away, popping in here in between bars to post. I can just imagine Beethoven glowering in the Grumpy Rant Room cos he's run out of ink...

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Hooray, I've got rid of "Sponsered Links" Cheesy

I haven't been seeing the actual ads because they're blocked but the heading was still there - no more!!!!!

I've just installed an add-on to the Adblock Plus extension for Firefox called "Element Hiding Helper" - and it allows me to suppress that pesky misspelling.

I know, MC, I was thinking the same. Poor Todd. Perhaps, like The Grammophone did a few years ago, they ,ounted a campaign called, 'A Nod For Todd'. I dont know, maybe we here on The Radio Boards could asked, this time, BBC Music Magazine to strat a campaign to??

Gosh, this is confusing. I just posted over at the Joan Bakewell thread that I thought Tod had declined a knighthood at some point thought he took a CBE in 2004. But the discussion about that is here really, isn't it. Well, you've got it twice now.

Agreed. At this rate we'll have to start a new thread to list our favourite Firefox addons...

'I'm sorry you want to do what?'

'I want to blow these A4 pages up to B4 and then have them copied double-sided.'

'We don't have B4 paper I'm afraid.'

'Can you copy them onto A3 and then trim them down then?'

'Yes we could do that but it wouldn't work if you were copying it double-sided.'

'Well yes, but couldn't you use the bypass tray?'

'Weeeeeeeeeeeel... [looks doubtfully at photocopier] I wouldn't know how to do that. Why don't you come back on Monday and ask the manager?'

'Because I need to post this today... Well thanks anyway'

x 10

So how did you spend your morning?

I have found a shop that would copy B4 to B4 for me and a helpful person (who is a student in our department!) who put the time in to make sure it all went to plan.

Only problem is now that I've run out of sellotape and have to pay for a courier. But apart from that it's all sweetness and light.

My National Bus Pass arrived today so I can now travel throughout England free gratis, including London buses (off-peak).     However, my real happiness was to note the optimism of the expiry date which will take me three years into the next decade.     I concur!    Roll Eyes
