There's no such thing as a free lunch they say.  Ah well.

I can't believe how quickly time is flying.  So much to do, so little time.  All is running smoothly at the moment and everyone this end is very happy.  Isn't it strange how life does that?  When one thing goes wrong, everything seems to and you get a really bad patch that you think is never going to end - then the opposite occurs and you're on a roll with everything going right.  It doesn't seem to be even somehow.

Still, must make hay whilst the sun shines I suppose.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

500 pages (and counting) of Grumps over at the GOR room! That makes it the longest thread on the forum I think, and we should all be pretty happy about being such prolific grumpers.  Smiley Smiley Cheesy

Happiness is the easiest thing in the word: it is an entirely uncerebral experience most unbefitting of any community of sophisticates such as the one we collectively constitute.  Whereas each and every grump is a beautiful intellectual artifact, a treasure in the truest sense of the word.

I've just dropped the child off for his piano lesson and his teacher has told me she wants to enter him for his first festival in March.  I'm thrilled to bits.  I used to do festivals when I was a child.  It will be so good for him and his confidence generally.   Cheesy

HOT NEWS! My trusty ticker tape machine informs me that MabelJane would like people to know that the house move was successful, the cats are happy in their new abode (well, she'd have to move again if they weren't, wouldn't she?  Cheesy) and so is she. She's still off line at the mo but she will be back.

Come back soooooon MJ and there'll be and some of these
