Happiness is going to see my daughter tomorrow. I shall wear something I know she likes me in, and wash my hair and everyone will be happy.

I had a lovely day. I walked to town in the morning. Some people have lovely gardens. The sun was out. I half walked and half run and was there very fast.
The town at this hour is relatively quite. Shops were opening.
There were not as many people as usual, but still there were a lot.
I got a present for my friend and after I even had time to look around in one more shop.
After my appointment (that was not terrible pleasant) I walked back home. I thought I will take a bus home, but I did not want to.
I went home by my favourite road. The weather was a little colder then, but still pleasant. I followed one of the canals.

It was not far from this canal. There were ducks there, not swans.

Now if I tried that I would get there sideways and in some discomfort.

If your left half walked and your right half ran (or vice-versa) wouldn't you actually proceed in spirals, Oz?

Well, now if we're being pedantic about it one foot can't do either on its own since part of the definition of walking is that there's always one foot on the ground...  Cheesy

With me it is free style walking.

I mean I some times walked and some times I ran. And I did not run on people's gardens. I walked alone the road. I just looked at their gardens.
There were very few people on the road otherwise I had to behave with more decorum.
The strange thing was that I met noone I know. I thought noone saw me. Then at a friend's house she told me: Lucy (Mexican friend) saw you today.  I said: How could she see me? And my friend said: She was taking her children to school in her car.
It is impossible to be invisible here. I did not see anyone. I like to meet people, but it is ok if I don't.

Doesn't that also cover a) legitimate snooker shots and b) acceptable sex scenes in old movies?
