well, had a nice weekend, the free covent garden tickets fell through so got some top seats for the eno, barber of seville, and my girlfriend bought me lunch, and enjoyed the opera, and spent a lot of sunday saying how lovely i am Smiley

i don't know, i just feel good, i am like that, some days, i currently have beethoven on, that could be part of it Smiley

alas, i must wait, for a call, from nhs direct to tell me my nearest nhs dentist ( the said can be upto 4 hours !!!! ), and i must await a call from the blind people, as one of the blinds is broken, still, i feel that life is going better Smiley

I don't mean to be discriminatory, but could I suggest you get a sighted person to repair them? Wink

I'm having my hair cut tomorrow and I'm almost insanely looking forward to it.
Also I'm having my photo taken for a brewery's publicity shots.
And I'm teaching my first official composition lesson for just over a year.

Why, did you, er, organise something there?

Not sure if this is the right room but-

Yesterday a black Labrador was running up and down the road for over half-an-hour, no collar, very friendly, so we put him in the back garden, which is quite large, and he ran up and down very pleased with life. I gave him some dry dog food and he was even happier and ate more in 3 minutes than our Wire-Haired Dachshund eats in a week. I phoned the council and played ball with my new friend for 30 minutes which was a strange experience as this dog gave me the ball back. When the dog-warden arrived she checked if he was micro-chipped which he was. It took four or five minutes to get the address and as she wrote it down  we saw that the dog had strayed all the way from the house opposite! "And the dog's name?"she asked "George" We looked at him and realized that he was the same "George" that had lived at the other end of the road until the owners had moved last year and we thought George had moved with them.
The dog warden returned the dog across the road, charged the owner £28.50 and left. And, till now, that's the last we have heard of George.
Should this be in Senior Moments as I did not recognize the dog? Embarrassed Moments as it cost a neighbour £28.50 to get his pet back ? The Grumpy Room since I was not told George was moving opposite, or just the Sad Room because I have lived here 30 years and do not know, nor would I even recognize the people who live opposite me?
For sure I am a true Englishman.
