This might interest some of you An Open Letter to my Teenage Son - Victor Lundberg.mp3It was played by Andy Kershaw in July 2005 and it brought tears to my eyes Internet Explorer instructions for t-p (and others): 1. left click on link An Open Letter......... above 2. right click where it says "Right-Click" and left click on "Save Target As..." 3. choose somewhere such as My Documents and click Save 4. when the download finishes, click on Open and the mp3 will play using Windows Media Player, RealPlayer or whatever you use.

What is it Andy D? How do you down load? Do I have to subscribe? I have never done anything like that?
Are you happy today? I am happy because there is a sunny day and not a student in sight.

Hi t-p, I'm quite happy today, the sun makes you feel better doesn't it? See my previous post for instructions, no need to subscribe to anything.

A fabulous day here on the NW coast. Beautiful sunshine, blue sea - calm as a mill pond. Literally thousands of people have arrived here for the long weekend. Why bother going abroad with lovely weather and beautiful beaches in this country? I'm busy preparing for my Easter Sunday family lunch tomorrow and filling the house with flowers, whilst child is out in the park with small friend and his mother. We're all going to see "The Last Mimsy" tonight. Happy, happy, happy.....

Glorious day here too, but I may go to the Grumpy Room to moan about how difficult it is to post on this site, at least sometimes. Why?

We're all happy here - but I haven't been enjoying R3 much this morning for some odd reason - there's usually always something I like very much, but not so far. Off out with the dog soon for some lovely fresh sea air and later going to see "Ninja Turtles". The weather is cloudy and dull today not like the mini-heatwave we had yesterday but the town is heaving with visitors and the "iffy" weather is great news for the shops/traders. Hope you all have a happy day as well, Best wishes from us two...well 3 if you count Alfie. x

I'm happy as I've been putting shells in boxes so that they can go into the collection properly after 3 years work! Onwards...

My screen reader makes me smile at times, and just now it read (from one the posts on another one of these boards) Onegin as 'one gin'! Another example a while ago was Josef Calleja as 'Call a jah'.

Onegin as 'one gin'!
Brings back memories - that's what my dad used to call it in his ROH chorus days. Happy day today - visiting a friend and her family out in the countryside (Derbyshire). Hens wandering around the garden and miniature ponies to pet. Would have been even happier if it hadn't been pouring with rain! That fine stuff you don't really notice at first - until you realise you're soaked through. They have a few acres including a small hillside covered in daffodils - thousands of them in shades of cream and yellow - so pretty. Wish I'd had a camera with me. This will have to do for now (though Preview won't work so the picture may not appear):

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.
