O Morte, How is They Sting this morning?

 Grin George,

I am pleased to report that the Paw of Mort has stopped growing and my knuckles have made a tentative reappearance. I hurled serious quantities of Tea Tree oil at it during the evening on the basis that, as an antidote for the bite of a Funnel Web spider then it should give this little bugler a ran for its money! So, fingers crossed. But only on my left hand Grin

Thank you for asking Kiss

Is that TalkTalk ad up above irritating anyone else as much as it is me? It`s even more irritating than their `playschool` style commercials. Plus, did no one think to point out to them that the handholding figures just look like a bunch of multi-coloured BATS!!!

Mutter, grumble, mutter, grumble.

What a waste of a day - 9 of the last 14 hours in the car  Angry  Angry  Angry

Going to sleep now.

Oh dear, Jonathan. Does this also mean that you didn`t find/buy/sell any wonderful shells? Sad NINE HOURS!

Hope your zzzzzzzs are happier than your day

Ho Mort,
The shell show* was actually last week but we had car trouble while down south (for the shell show and helping catalogue the Liszt Society library) and so had to hire a car and drive it back up here after that.  Obviously, not being as rich as King Midas, I couldn't afford to rent that car indefinately (plus it is seriously uncomfortable as I am quite tall and it was a Corsa) so we took that back yesterday and retreived my car from the garage (who said it couldn't be fixed until this week anyway!)  Still, we did call on the chap we stayed with last week (the Liszt society secretary) for lunch and also one of my oldest friends and his family around dinnertime.

* = I did get some very nice shells though, as usual, plus I've nearly finished organising my shell room for the first time in 4 years (it went messy after the move nearly a year ago but wasn't really very tidy in the old house either)

Just really tired today though, plus I am at work which adds to the tiredness.

Best regards,
Jonathan

Jonathan,

I recommend some serious putting up of the feet this weekend. Be a sofa sloth Grin  Glad you did not return shell-less though. Any pictures of your haul forthcoming?
