Was watching BBC's Midlands Today news prog just now - someone reporting on New Street station with a list of bullet points down the right side of the screen including:

"less damand for..." (sic)

Good grief!

Trouble is about Facebook, it could lead to identity fraud.
Is there actually any evidence of that happening?

Yes there was a spot about it on BBC Breakfast News, a couple of days ago. They can just gather up information on the schedule that a member of Facebook puts on, eg dob, name.etc.

Yes, I suppose they can.

Sorry to be a bore, but: Is there actually any evidence of that happening?

Here  cometh a rant ......

I skipped happily into work today (probably fuelled by a double espresso) only to find that I no longer have access to my therapy room because a doctor will now be using it for a research project for an unlimited period. The fact that the room is where I store oils worth many hundreds of pounds under lock and key, plus ointment bases and pots and, well, plus plus plus things, would appear to be of no consequence. The decision was taken by a 27 year old `manager` whose mental capabilities would be seriously challenged by an amoeba. My Line Manager knew nothing about it and was utterly unconcerned. Cheers chaps Angry

I must have been more teed off than I realised because when I got home .... no house keys. SHRIEK!!  Yup, I had left them at work. I summoned a mini cab and got a complete eegit of a driver who didn`t know where to go. After leaving from the North we ended up approaching from the South. Growl. Finally, with the keys in my hot little hand I hailed a black cab. Who told me he didn`t know where Highgate was and told me to try another cab. Huh? I was in Hampstead High Street, approx 15 minutes away from Highgate.  I finally hailed a cabbie in shining armour who told me that the previous  one just didn`t want to take me because it was a `bad` fare. "I bet if you`d offered him fifty quid he`d `ave soon known where Highgate was".  Bless `im. He received a rather extravagent tip.

Right, where`s the red wine? Mutter, mutter, mumble.

Sorry chaps. As you were. Roll Eyes

I believe threatening to report them to the PCO can have miraculous effects on such occasions.

David, I`ll remember that for  the next time. In the meantime, I hope his big end falls off and a flock of gulls poo copiously over his paintwork. Childish? Moi? Grin

Here  cometh a rant ......
Highly justified rant, Mort. That's outrageous. Shocked  Angry Don't know what to suggest but I'm disgusted that some ignorant manager can do that to you. Hope you can find an alternative therapy room - oh, I don't mean the therapy's alternative - though maybe it is? - I mean another room.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.
