I'm getting a cold, and I'm trying to fill in forms about my RAE submission.
I submit!
I'm supposed to be packing as well today.

In an absence of a SMUG room, I'm rather pleased to be potentially submitting 4 pieces of research despite the fact that I'm a) part-time and b) an early career researcher. It does mean that I have to fill in four pieces of paperwork though...

Shocked
Makes my £20 voucher for finding an earwig in their quiche seem rather paltry now!

What happened when you complained today, bbm?
I thought I better stay quiet on this one. Too much, they might get rsther fed up if I keep on at them!!

Today, I have nothing to grump about, so I`m here. YAHOO !!!

Same here, Mort.

I cooked a lovely roast for dinner, it's the start of half-term and I've got performances of Il Trovatore, The Sacrifice (both WNO) and La Bayadère (Royal Ballet) to look forward to this week. Hoorah!  Cheesy

I heard over the last couple of days, that Yahoo! 360 where my main blog has lived up until now, will close early in 2008.

Yahoo! promises that all the information I have saved in the 360 service will still be available. I will wait and see. I was invited to use a new "beta" service which turned out to be a catastrophic failure. It looks as though large numbers of people are packing up and leaving.

I've got a Yahoo 360 thing as well Kitty but I've never used it as far as I can remember - I've just found it and it's empty, although it's got my age right, last updated 14/6/06. I expect they're giving up because Blogger beats it hands down. I had a Yahoo photo account too but that has all been transferred to flickr recently since Yahoo bought flickr.

Is blogger better than facebook? I use that and find it nice to keep in touch with my daughter with.
