Oh thank you, thank you Mort. I'm serious, I'd do absolutely ANYTHING for a roast parsnip just now, particularly that perfect looking one just in the middle of martle's picture. Oooh groan, salivate, sob.

Quote
to tide you over the yawning abyss of a parsnip parlous night.

I read that as 'yawning abbess', which has set me off on another track altogether now.

Please stop these temptations, all of you!

NB when I googled "smiling parsnip" I got this, among others, for some reason!

Ee by 'eck as like! You'd have thought an "absolute hunk" could 'ave come up with something better between his legs than an empty bottle of vodka! How times change.

We tried that one in 1971 A, but had to withdraw it when Tony Warren said he'd never allow us to use the "Corrie music" again unless we could make the scene more sexy!

who did you used to be Ena?

19 posts in a day suggests an ulterior motive, indeed, even the most hardy don't manage much above 5 a day.

Well, apart from one or two dingos, you all seem like a friendly lot to me! I'd be real surprised though if termites could manage it more than 5 times a day.

Termites are more intelligent than you suspect.

So, Ena, new member, you will voting in the Moderator poll?  As a new member, who knows no one?
