OK tommo, I will have a stab at your musical connections.

The answer is seven.

The odd one out is Faure's Hommage.

I went to the dentist for a checkup/scale and polish this morning, and although there was nothing wrong with my teeth (so he said) my jaw began to ache quite badly during the scaling, and is now so bad that I CAN'T EAT. At least, I can only manage liquid or mush. It's very annoying and a bit puzzling. The hygienist said it was just the result of having my mouth open for so long, but it's never happened before.

I nearly posted this in The Sick Room, but I'm not really sick, and I AM grumpy and ranting, and hungry. Mashed banana, yogurt and soup for a bit, I fear.

Poor you, Mary, sounds like you'd rather be grinding your teeth with rage.

Hope it gets better soon xx

Hope your jaw recovers soon, Mary. Kiss
Maybe you just need to do this:

Thanks for the sympathy - I really need it! Still on soggy bread and milk and soup.

I do feel just like that picture of Miss Moppet.

Of course, Miss Moppet was trying to entice the mouse to come near...

Poor you, Mary! But don't worry, I'm sure this is a common compliant post-dental treatment. I think your muscles just get strained, as in any unfamiliar exertion. You'll be back on the buffalo steaks tomorrow.  Grin

Are buffalo steaks considered especially tough?

Rant of the day: It rained for exactly five minutes: the five minutes it took me to take Okazaki Fragment out of the car and bring him into the house.
