Happy Birthday Tommo!

Have a great day! Can you still manage a piece of cake at your impressively advanced age? Wink

Very many thanks everyone!

So far a really really good day. Good gig last night (thanks for asking, BobbyZ) and several beverages were consumed, but I awoke this morning without a hangover.  (Rubes - did you have it again?  MARTLE! NAUGHTY CORNER, NOW).  I came downstairs to find a Croquembouche made of Tunnocks Tea-Cakes (plain and milk choclate varieties), Jelly Babies and Wine Gums.  For a Tommo that is the absolute plus-haute-cuisine.  (Tinners, that sort of cake is no problem.  It's in same ease-of-disappearing-category as 2 packets of Custard Creams.)

Then a lovely walk with the hound, in bright sunshine.  Followed by a bike ride.  Just wonderful going round the English Countryside realising there is quite a lot of it still, and if you get off the main roads on a Monday it can be quite quiet.

My puncture, which I had repaired, went again, but fortunately near a cycle shop.  So, I have a nice new inner tube now.  And once that was in, I was very pleased to find that despite my advancing age I can still get up to 30mph on the flat, and can average around 20mph.  Quite looking forward to keeping fit if days are like this.  Smiley

And a nice relaxing lunch with a pot of freshly ground coffee.  Little trip to the allotment now, then I may have another spin on the bike, or perhaps a few moments on the viola.

Thanks all again, for your kind wishes.

Tommo

PS hh - I love Marmots! (almost as much as otters)
