Many thanks for all your kind messages, folks! Oh no...not the comfy chair!! And cushions!!  Shocked

I've had a lovely day - busy in the classroom, but the cakes were enjoyed by all. My TA even baked me a cake as well, plus little ones for my class! My KS1 colleagues gave me a hamper full of goodies - coffee, jams, chutneys, wine, chocs, sundried tomatoes etc plus the latest Gordon Ramsay cookbook - so I'm very happy.

Ron, I've done very well so far this year and not bought any CDs (see New Years Resolutions thread) and will withstand the urge for as long as humanly possible!  Grin  (I've also avoided puddings until yesterday at Bertorelli's - in fairness, I did promise not to have them at home and restaurants/eating out was sort of ok as a treat!  Roll Eyes)

Ruth, sorry I missed you. I did do a circuit of the Floral Hall in the first interval. I posted a few thoughts about Jaho at the other place too.

No new puzzles this evening, as I've also been invited round to friends for supper (so I shall have to eat pudding just to be polite, you see!) but I shall think up some fiendish new ones very soon. Be afraid. Be very afraid!  Cheesy

Happy Birthday IGI

Sounds like you work with a great bunch! Pleased to hear that they made a fuss of you. Smiley

Ah, that would explain it - I was in the Amphitheatre bar in the first interval (having run into some friends) and the Floral Hall in the second Sad

Good to know you had an enjoyable birthday, anyway!
