I don't want to disappoint anyone. I saw onces on TV an old types of parties with masks (and why did they wera wigs in old time). Some of us are past due date (it you know what I mean). On the other hand it really doesn't matter. I love masks. A friends daughter brought a good mask from Italy.

(and why did they wera wigs in old time) I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the wigs were a refuge against fleas. People chose to shave their heads and wear wigs rather than suffer from infestation. Wikipedia says that they were adopted as a fashion statement when long hair for men became popular. (it also pulls the plug on the notion that they were a flea defense)

Hi everyone,
Sorry, haven't been online all weekend. Quite happy for anyone to post pics of me!
(George, who was the young Peter Brook comment directed at? I don't know what Peter Brook looks like. Bryn did suggest I looked like a young Peter Sellars - the opera director, not the pink panther. Funnily enough, I was introduced to the flautist Nancy Ruffer on Friday who commented (quite coincidentally, as I don't think she knew I'd been with you all the previous day) that I reminded her slightly of Richard. Hmmm.)

George, who was the young Peter Brook comment directed at? 'Directed at' in the most admiring sort of way I hasten to add, t-i-n. Very handsome chap he was/is. Unfortunately I can't find on-line anywhere the photo of the young version I was thinking of but this is what he looks like now. We'll just have to check again when you are 83 I suppose. Something about the eyes. Perhaps if we could morph Peters Brook and Sellars together and add a dash of Richard, we might be getting somewhere.

T-P, the table around which the gathering originally acreted proved to not be fit for purpose, so a shock and awe campaign was launched and a larger table was occupied, after evicting those formerly in residence there.

To a trained eye (such as our own) it is evident that the "gentleman" on the left of the picture is "wired for sound". Did Members present at the time notice that?

It would be nice to see : Sydney Grew and Tony Watson on a picture too. I don't know how to upload a picture to this photobacket, otherwise I could attempt to do it. As Sydney Grew pointed out in this world of spies and wires one never know what to expect. May be you want to know some piano secrets.
