Thanks John but you're giving me credit here where it is not due - I was referring to the composer not the place.

Ok, another Who?Where? although there are 2 Wheres, both residencies of one composer. Your task, if you choose to accept it, is to find out the house number, street and city in both cases.

Well, the red-brick residence has a blue plaque, suggesting the UK.
The other one has overtones of the Bates Motel (or rather, Norman's mum's house) - US? Or is it a rather nice bit of Scandinavia?

So, a composer who lived in UK and USA... ..... and was not born in UK or USA.

So, spinning wheel leads me to Dvorak ? The US connection is obvious and he also spent time being feted in London by the Philharmonic society.

Not Dvorak. So, here's a musical clue, not played by those contraptions shown above musical clueJohn W

Aha, Percy Grainger.
Oh, you want actual addresses! You play hard, Mr W.
Well, Mr Google kindly tells me that the US one is 7 Cromwell Place, White Plains, New York.
And the London one, thanks to the Blue Plaque website, is 31 Kings Road, Chelsea.

At last, well done George.
I've been a few times to White Plains (just north of Bronx NYC) but didn't know about Percy Grainger's house till this week. Did he ever make recordings of his Free Machines?
