I've started this one for everyone who might be nervous about anything coming up in the near future eg. exams, interviews, dodgy rehearsals or, as in my case, Court cases.  I've got one at the end of the month that is crucial and will determine the future well-being of a child so I'm feeling very fragile at present.  Wish us luck.

Anyone wants to get their nervous angst off their chest, this is the place.  Sad

Thinking of you Milly  xxx

I'm feeling uptight because it is now April, and therefore only about a month now until my beloved home and garden have to go on the market...

Considerable apprehension every time I have to take the kids anywhere - I haven't been able to find my driving license for the last six months, which, considering the obsessive care with which I file everything, is rather worrying. So now I have to ask the DVLC if they can replace it, with all the attendant hassle.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

I have so many anxieties, that I am anxiety personified. I would not even know where to start.
My thoughts are with you Millly. I wish that the child will have a chance for better life and for his future. I wish my grandma adopted me when I was little, may be I would have less problems as an adult.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. And with all others who are misplacing things or are afraid of bugs (?).

Insects signal to the birds that they are poisonous. German sheperds are ok on the leash.
I actually was bitten by a dog once, but it was not bad.

I do wish you luck dear Milly. I feel for the many children in my class at school who have a really dreadful family life - they have to put up with so much misery. School is a safe haven for them. One little girl cried on the day we broke up as she said she wanted to be at school, not at home, for this Easter holiday. Cry
I'm feeling very apprehensive myself about something at the moment.  Sad

Good luck and best wishes to you too dear t-p. Somehow it helps to know you're not alone with worries to face.  Kiss

My thoughts are with you too, Milly. I know two people who have court cases on the horizon (different matters, it has to be said) and I have some idea of the anxieties involved.

I find that even if I've got a really good day to look forward to I worry in case something goes wrong to spoil it. I wonder why that is why we tend to look on the past with rose-coloured spectacles. All the anxieties we had at the time, even when life was going smoothly because there's always something to worry about, have disappeared because we know that we have survived it, even if bruises and scars remain.

Worry is simply interest paid on a debt which you may never owe, Tony et al.

If you worry about something and it happens, the worry has achieved nothing.

If you worry about something and it doesn't happen, the worry has achieved nothing.

Try to think logically of that, if you can. It may help.

I don't want to minimise the trouble that worryiong can bring, but it really is pointless.

I'm very fortunate in that I seem psychologically incapable of worrying and to my knowledge have never lost sleep because of it. I wish everyone could be like that cos I know some who worry a lot and it can be very distressing.

bws as usual
