Cripes Ollie! I don`t like the look of white pointy one in the second pictures. It looks menacing. Are you sure it`s for .....

It's not that easy being a boy either. Swings and roundabouts?

George, I`m not even going to ask! I`ve haven`t had my second cup of tea yet Grin However, I can see that this manhood business can obviously be a bit tricky sometimes. Respec! as they say. Innit. Ahem.

So often when I peruse George's posts I'm reminded that there are true artists among us. Respec, indeed.

I've just remembered something I saw at the Frankfurter Musikmesse that's crying out for a mention on the Unfortunate Titles thread...

What do you do with the spoons (double spoons)? I can not think of anything. May be they are for food?

If you are going by tube, A and B, either Chalk Farm or Camden Town stations and then enter this multi-coloured world.

Well, it's not quite as exotically 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' as that I have to warn you. We are still talking North London here... Enjoy, and don't spend too much.

Strictly speaking this is sort of a waffle/grumpy old rant crossover; I would happily have waffled during the last three days but General Midwinter decided to throw a last tantrum our way here with snow followed by wind on Sunday. It's not so unusual to have a power cut lasting most of a day, but by the end of Tuesday night it was very disappointing to see most of the town once again with lights while the lane was still blacked out.
To make matters worse we depend on electrical power for water (artesian well), heat, light, and cooking, so after two days of carrying buckets of water up from the brook to flush the loo we finally bottled out and went to a motel for the night.
Needless to say, when we got home this morning the power had been restored for 12 hours already, but some people have been told they won't be reconnected until Saturday.  Sad

It's jolly cold here in Yorkshire (or maybe it just seems it) - what happened to the spring we had last week?

Oh well, not to worry as it's nearly the Shell show again!
